This tool makes forend work on an AR15 simple and quick. I used to utilize the handles of a pipe-wrench and wedge the head of the wrench under my workbench....ugh, the things you do when you don't know any better. The D-ring tool is must have for the AR15 owner as it makes handguard removal an easy process for cleaning or adjustment. For a measly ten bucks each I bought three to keep in my range bags and gun safe so they are always at hand.

Works perfectly to help remove the handguard on my Smith and Wesson M;P-15. It's an ingenious design really. Part of it hooks into the magazine well to provide a little leverage and then the two rubberized arms are squeezed to grip the delta ring, this is all done with one hand so you can use your other hand to physically remove the handguards.
