Received the Tactical Quad Rail and I experienced none of the issues mentioned in the other review. The unit fit great, was machined perfectly, screws fit just right. Followed the simple instructions and it mounted quickly and correctly. Mounted a TASCO RedDot sight and UTG bipod and it shoots like a dream. Don't be discouraged, buy it an increase the functionality of your 10/22.

Well, it was almost good enough to install right out of the box. Each receiver hole was about 1 mm off from lining up. This was enough to make it impossible to install without modification. So I did this by slightly extending the holes. Then it fit. The other option was to grind on the rail where it was hitting the front of the receiver. The front barrel clamp was probably not at fault for what happened next. My stock is apparently too slender at the front to allow the barrel clamp to clamp. I fixed this with foam pipe wrap. Now it's perfect. Before it would rock due to the two forward screws being too long to tighten the clamp in the front..we are talking about a taper in the front of the stock that was probably a ruger issue, not necessarily the quad rail. Anyway, with these mods and the question in my mind of why only 2 receiver screws, i installed this and it seems okay. I used lock tight, so we'll see if two receiver screws are adequate with accessories attached. I have a UTG quad rail on back order, so I think I will keep it too and compare them. Honestly i think the receiver holes being off is unacceptable, but i have waited weeks for a rail and finally caved in to this one. Still, a little careful modifying and this seems like it will work. Four stars for now due to high quality materials and nice fitting covers without any brand labels. It does appear to be rock solid now..we'll see if it holds up with just two screws in the back.
